Updating WattsQGC
Watts Innovations will periodically release new versions of the WattsQGC Application for the EchoSky Mobile handset. These updates will include new feature implementations, improvements and bug fixes. It is highly recommended that users continually update both WattsQGC and the onboard PRISM firmware to ensure optimal performance and the best user experience possible. Updating the WattsQGC app will not cause any information such as cached maps, automated missions, or telemetry data to be erased.
If an update to the WattsQGC App is available, a pop-up will appear upon opening the app asking the operator if he or she would like to update the application. Pressing “Update” will begin the update.
The user may defer the update until a later time, but should not put off updating for longer than necessary for mission safety or expedience.
