Registering PRISM Lite with the FAA
This page outlines the steps for registering PRISM Sky as a Standard Remote ID aircraft using the FAA Drone Zone.
Public DOC List
In addition to meeting our Scope of Compliance, to ensure your PRISM Sky (serial number) is in compliance with Part 89 Remote ID regulations your aircraft must have an FAA-accepted Declaration of Compliance (DOC) listed on the Public DOC List in order to be able to register the aircraft via the FAA Drone Zone.
NOTE: If your unmanned aircraft (serial number) is not listed on the Public DOC List, you will not be able to register your aircraft.
FAA Drone Zone
Follow the instructions below to properly fill out you FAA registration for PRISM Sky:
Login or Create an Account with the FAA Drone Zone.
Launch Drone Owners and Pilots Dashboard
Navigate to your Part 107 Dashboard
Select Manage Device Inventory
Select Add Device
DOES YOUR DRONE BROADCAST FAA REMOTE ID INFORMATION?* - Select Yes (required)
UAS TYPE* - Select Standard Remote ID - required
NICKNAME - Enter nickname of your choice (example: PRISM Sky xxxx)
UAS MANUFACTURER* - Enter Watts Innovations - required
UAS MODEL* - Enter PRISM Sky - required
REMOTE ID SERIAL NUMBER* - Enter the entire serial number using the above format (example: 1785C00000000xxxx where xxxx would be the last four digits of the serial number assigned for your aircraft) - required
NOTE: Below is an example ONLY. The serial number used in the examples on this guide should NOT be used when registering your aircraft as it will be different from the serial number assigned to your PRISM Lite aircraft.
